A diverse, effervescent culture

French is an everyday part of people’s lives in the Yukon, including through various cultural and artistic activities. The Yukon Francophone community is vibrant and diverse due to the contributions of an increasing number of people who make the choice to live in French in the Yukon.

The Francophone culture is showcased through a vast annual program of events: stage performances, online cultural vignettes and professional development opportunities for artists. In addition, the community has access to radio shows in French, activities and community dinners for all ages.
